One-of-a-kind clothing made from from vintage blankets, table cloths, and other upcycled materials

Quirkie Su is a still a small Australian-made operation. The owners, Amanda and Rory, design and handmake all the pieces themselves.
Upcycling is at the centre of Quirkie Su. Amanda and Rory deliberately look for materials that already exist rather than starting with new fabric. This includes vintage woollen blankets, crochet rugs, embroidered tablecloths, deadstock fabric and other second-hand textiles found through op shops and similar sources.
Quirkie Su uses animal-derived materials, particularly vintage and upcycled woollen blankets, so the brand is not vegan. At the time of writing, we found no current products using fur, exotic skins or other less common animal-derived materials.
