Timeless, size-inclusive clothing made from natural fibres.

All Sanct garments are made in Australia and the brand is accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia. This certification independently verifies that local production complies with Australian workplace laws. It covers areas such as fair wages, legal entitlements and safe working conditions. The accreditation also extends to any outworkers and contractors involved in production.
Garments are produced either in-house or with local manufacturing partners. Pattern making is completed locally by RB Patternmaking, which is also accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia. Fabrics are sourced locally wherever possible.
Size inclusivity is a core part of Sanct’s philosophy. The brand offers sizes up to AU 30, alongside custom sizing and fit consultations. The founder believes that creating a more inclusive size range is an important part of building a more ethical fashion industry.
The brand’s radical transparency is very refreshing. Sanct publicly shares detailed information about its suppliers, including fabrics, labels, trims and packaging. The brand lists all their suppliers and country of origins.
Sanct exclusively uses natural fibres. This extends beyond the garments themselves, with a focus on natural fibre threads and trims wherever possible. Materials include GOTS certified organic cotton, linen, hemp, Tencel (derived from wood pulp) and carefully selected deadstock fabrics. The brand also states that it is 100% plastic-free brand labels and packaging avoid synthetic materials wherever possible.
A standout feature is the level of transparency provided. Sanct shares detailed information about the materials used in each garment, including fabrics, threads, labels, elastics and trims. They also disclose where these materials were sourced.
All garments are made in Australia and fabrics are sourced as locally as possible. Keeping production and sourcing closer to home helps reduce transport-related emissions and allows the brand to maintain greater oversight of its supply chain.
Waste reduction is built into Sanct’s production model. Collections are intentionally kept small, with many garments made to order and others produced in limited batches. This helps avoid excess stock and overproduction. Fabric offcuts are kept and repurposed into smaller products, while unusable scraps are sent to a recycling partner that shreds the material for reuse as boxing bag fill. The brand has also expressed a goal of partnering with textile recycling companies in the future to regenerate textile waste into new fibres.
Longevity is another important part of Sanct’s sustainability approach. The brand designs pieces to be worn for years rather and offers lifetime repairs.
Sanct uses some animal-derived materials, including wool from deadstock fabrics. Most materials used across the range are plant-based natural fibres. The brand also provides detailed information about the materials used in each garment and where it’s sourced from. So you can make informed decisions.
